Violeta J Brosig ventured into the underwater world of photography when she moved from Brazil to Australia, 17 years ago. Self-taught, “Vee” how she is called by friends began work as a videographer in the whaleshark tourism industry; capturing the interaction of tourists and the local gentle giants in their natural environment.
Spending many seasons out on the reef, Violeta’s interest in the underwater world unraveled into a passion that has been the driving force behind capturing the marine life of Ningaloo and Cape range in a creative light. Violeta and her camera became ‘regulars’ to the historical Navy pier dive, situated on the tip of the Exmouth peninsula. Using her photography as a visual voice, Vee’s work has showcased the curious characters of resident grey nurse sharks, schooling trevally, and gregarious groupers.
With the intention of connecting people to the ocean and the area, BlueMedia has since spent years photographing ecotours, dive trips, endemic fauna and flora, government projects, local business and community events. Much of her work has been displayed inNational Geographic , dive magazines , visitor center’s, local cafes, resorts and public places.
Now an Award Winning, Canon/AIPP certified photographer, Blue Media Exmouth leads the way in coastal, landscape and underwater photography on the WA coastline.
Violeta heads Blue Media as an established local business on the doorstep of the Ningaloo Reef. With the aspiration of capturing special moments with fresh originality, Vee is available for Lifestyle, Commercial ,events , Weddings and Underwater work.
